Nicole Marsh, CMP, DMCP, owner of Arrangers, has been voted in by the board members of the Meetings Industry Council (MIC) of Colorado as the organization’s Chair for 2011-2012. MIC is a coalition of 13 professional meetings industry-related organizations in Colorado. Its underlying purpose is to strengthen the relationships among participating organizations through increased communication.
Nicole has been actively involved in MIC since 2006, serving as the organization’s Secretary and Chair Elect in recent years. “It is an honor to lead such a prestigious group,” Nicole states, “I look forward to adding awareness to the organization and further expanding the programs that MIC offers to the Colorado meetings industry.”
Arrangers encourages and supports industry involvement and has employees deeply involved with several of the MIC organizations, which gives Marsh a unique perspective to leading the organization. Nicole is also a past recipient of the MIC Leadership Award, given to one individual in Colorado annually who demonstrates active leadership within one or more industry associations and displays the personal and professional integrity that allows them to stand out among their peers.
MIC participating associations include: Colorado Society of Association Executives (CSAE), Visit Denver, Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI), International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE), Colorado Festivals and Events Association (CFEA), International Special Events Society (ISES), Meeting Professionals International (MPI), National Speakers Association (NSA), Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA), Rocky Mountain Business Travel Association (RMBTA), Society of Government Meeting Professionals (SGMP), Christian Meetings & Conventions Associations (CMCA), National Association of Catering Executives (NACE).
