Nicole Marsh, CMP, DMCP, owner of Arrangers, will be taking the helm as President of the Association of Destination Management Executives (ADME) for the 2009 – 2010 term.
Nicole has been actively involved in ADME since 2005, serving as a National Board Member and Director of Education and Vice President of Finance. Nicole is also the past chair of the certification and accreditation board (CAB) (2007-2008). For her contribution and dedication to ADME, Nicole Marsh was named the recipient of the Joanne O’Connor President’s Award given to her by past President, Ilene Reinhart, at ADME’s annual conference held February 2008.
Nicole has championed major industry projects for ADME including the Accredited Destination Management Company (ADMC) Program and the DMC Institute Webinar Series. Future goals as President of ADME include a second book for the DMC profession, entitled “Best Practices in Destination Management.” The book is on schedule for completion in mid–2009. Nicole is also diligently working to expand ADME into international markets.
As the pre-eminent organization for Destination Management Executives, the mission of ADME is to increase the professionalism and effectiveness of destination management through member and industry education, establishment of standard ethical practices and raise the level of awareness of the value of destination management to the respective association, corporate and general public.
