Nicole Marsh, CMP, DMCP, was given the Meeting Industry Council (MIC) of Colorado’s 2006 Meetings Industry Leader Award at the MIC’s Annual Conference on March 21, 2007, in Denver,Colorado. The MIC is a coalition of twelve professional meetings industry organizations with Chapters in the Rocky Mountain Region. Its underlying purpose is to strengthen relationships among participating organizations through increased communications.
Meetings Industry Leader Award is the only award given out annually by the MIC. Nominees for the award demonstrate active leadership within one or more industry associations and display the personal and professional integrity that allows them to stand out among their peers.
Nicole’s dedicated service to the Boards of the Association of Destination Management Executives (ADME) and the Destination Management certification program (the Destination Management Certified Professional – DMCP), as the past President of the local chapter of the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) and an active member of the Denver Metro Convention and Visitors Bureau are a testament to her passion for the industry and professional leadership.
Nicole Marsh joined the Destination Management and Event Planning industry in 1998 and has quickly made a name for herself and her company, The Arrangers DMC, which just entered its 38th year of business. When Marsh purchased the company in 2000, there were three employees. Since then, Nicole has quadrupled her staff to include ten full- time and two part-time employees who operate out of the Denver and Vail offices.
